This study aims to analyze the benefits of the Village Fund on improving community welfare in Besum Village, Jayapura Regency, and identify factors that influence the effectiveness of its use. This research uses a descriptive quantitative approach with the research location in Besum Village. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, and direct observation. Data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics and content analysis to comprehensively combine quantitative and qualitative findings. The results showed that the utilization of the Village Fund in Besum Village has had a significant impact on community welfare, especially in the sectors of infrastructure development, basic services (health and education), and local economic empowerment. The active participation of the community in the village deliberation also encourages targeted program planning. However, challenges remain in terms of the capacity of village officials, delays in fund disbursement, and weak monitoring and reporting. The conclusion of this research is that the Village Fund has great potential in improving the quality of life of the community if managed with the principles of transparency, accountability, and active participation of citizens. Therefore, it is recommended that local governments improve technical training for village officials and strengthen participatory monitoring systems to ensure that the Village Fund is used optimally and sustainably.
