Evaluation of the Community Empowerment Program of Okmakot Village

This research evaluates community empowerment programs conducted in Okmakot Village, Oksibil District, Bintang Mountains Regency from October 2024 to January 2025. Employing a qualitative approach, data was collected through surveys and interviews, with subsequent analysis performed qualitatively. The findings reveal several key points: fisrt, The Community Empowerment Program in Okmakot Village is effectively implemented, bolstered by strong support from both the district and village governments as well as active community involvement. Second, Six supporting and three inhibiting factors influence the program's effectiveness. Supporting factors include self-awareness, motivation, community conditions and needs, community support, government support, and cooperation. In contrast, the inhibiting factors consist of low human resource quality, limited participation from community members, and budget allocations being diverted to activities outside the empowerment program. These findings underscore the importance of collaborative efforts and resource management in enhancing the effectiveness of community empowerment initiatives.
