About the Journal
GPPR is a peer-reviewed international journal focused on research in public administration, public policy, governance, and management. Its distinctive feature lies in bridging the gap between theoretical frameworks and practical applications, facilitating a two-way exchange between theory and practice.
The journal encompasses studies of developed, developing, and transitional nations, nonprofit and non-governmental organizations, and all aspects of public sector activities. It accepts diverse scholarly works, including theoretical, analytical, quantitative, qualitative, empirical, and practitioner-based research. The journal welcomes single-country studies, regional analyses, and particularly values comparative research.
Our readership extends beyond academia to include policymakers and practitioners, particularly aspiring public sector leaders involved in education and research within the global public service, policy, administration, and governance community. We seek to publish cutting-edge research from both scholars and practitioners, as well as collaborative work between these groups. Our goal is to promote research reporting that is both accessible to a broad audience and maintains high academic rigor and scholarly standards.
